Broken Fears is a female Soul, Modern Jazz, R&B, HipHop artist from Berlin driven by her passion for contrast, groovy basslines, syncopated beats, rich melodies, complex vocal harmonies, jazzy chord progressions, warm atmospheres, poetry, and fashion. She is a vocalist, songwriter, holistic performer, visual artist, and multi-instrumentalist.

 

Her unique voice, bright yet powerful, reveals her story of a broken child who grew strong into an independent, fearless, modern woman. In her music, influenced by artists such as Aretha Franklin, Michael Jackson, Prince, Stevie Wonder, Annie Lennox, Kate Bush, Janet Jackson, and WAYNE SNOW, she unites different cultural influences, and releases musical boundaries by elegantly adapting the diversity of her current environment regarding her artistic vision.

 

Telling about personal desires, self-exploration, empowerment, social critics, and suppression, Broken Fears´ lyrics reflect her longing for freedom, purpose, and deep connections while her connectivity to her own vulnerability helps her to communicate with her audience on a deeper level to create a strong, unbreakable bond.  Driven by an indelible thirst for challenge and self-improvement to climb the mountains of her biggest aspirations she is ready to proof herself in the highly competitive music scene Berlin has to offer.

 

Currently, she is working and collaborating on her first EP “Light Bird” in style of Gospel/Soul coming out July 2023.
